2nd PFAS INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS
Paris, France, 13-14 June 2023
PFAS: Per- & Poly-fluoro-alkyl-Substances are increasingly recognised as having a very significant impact on the Environment and Public Health.
Thousands of PFAS-containing products have produced thousands of contaminated sites over the past 60 years, with toxicological impacts ranging from endocrine disruption to carcinogenic effects from these more than 9,000 highly stable and bioaccumulative compounds.
Environmental and public health management strategies for the international legal context and requirements, site investigations, environmental and health risk assessments, toxicology and epidemiology, remediation management plans and clean-up objectives, water, soil and air treatment technologies and Research and Development will be presented and discussed.
The 2nd International Conference on PFAS, to be held in Paris on 13 & 14 June, will provide a unique opportunity to meet all the players involved.
Committed to nature
HPC INTERNATIONAL SAS is now one of the companies committed to nature.
The aim of this programme is to commit companies to biodiversity. It aims to bring to light, recognise and promote the action plans of structures which, indirectly or directly, have a major impact on biodiversity while being dependent on a certain number of services provided by nature.
As a Health-Environment consultancy with a Biodiversity-Ecology component, it is essential for us to be committed to nature. We have therefore implemented a long-term action plan in favour of biodiversity, which will enable us to continually improve our commitment.

Joint press release - May 2022
On May 6, 2022, Didier Martin, Prefect of the Pays de la Loire region, and Wing Vice-Admiral Olivier Lebas, Maritime Prefect of the Atlantic will sign in the presence of the press the operational section of the strategic document for the maritime facade North Atlantic - Western Channel. On this occasion, the associations Bretagne Vivante, Eau et Rivières de Bretagne, FNE Pays de la Loire and FNE, all members of the Maritime Council, wish to recall that they have issued an unfavorable opinion on this DSF action plan, the objectives environment remaining too far behind in relation to socio-economic objectives. However, the two European directives on which the DSFs are based, the strategic framework directive for the marine environment and the planning directive, are mainly based on the objective of achieving Good Ecological Status.
